Air Canada has dropped the price on their Singapore down to $948 CAD roundtrip including taxes.

Fights are nonstop, which normally goes for $1400!

I did not see this publicly announced but as of 2 weeks ago, Air Canada changed their baggage policy for flights to Asia/Oceania. Their basic economy fares will no longer include 1 free checked bag (it'll only include 1 carry-on). You'll have to pay $150 for a checked bag or get a free bag with an aeroplan card.

Search Instructions

1. Use Google Flights to search for dates

2. Search for Vancouver to Singapore roundtrip

3. Open up the price calendar by clicking on the departure date, and look for date combinations listed for $949.

You can adjust the trip length for your preferred duration (bottom of the calendar).

Example dates:

Sept 16 to 25

Oct 7 to 16

Nov 25 to Dec 2

Dec 4 to 25

...many more dates are available

4. Google Flights will give you the option to book directly with the airline.
